An easy day! We got up in a leisurely manner and made our way downhill to the canal through the park - a much more pleasant route than the noisy, smelly route we had taken into town. The along the canal towpath almost as far as Portiragnes where we cut across to the sea.
In order to complete this trip I have to at least paddle in the sea at the channel, on the Atlantic coast and at the Mediterranean. It was just hot enough to swim so I can consider one part of the challenge completed.
Now all that remains is to the leg from St Malo to La Rochelle!
